Atlanta Wedding Video Highlights | Cathedral of Christ the King

Summer and CJ were married on what turned out to be a beautiful December day in Atlanta. From a really cool little place to get her makeup done, to a beautiful church in the middle of Atlanta, to a Cajun-food reception, it was a great day.

Summer is actually going to be featured on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress, in March I believe, so be on the look out for that.

One of the things that us in the videographer world know is that video is not tops in the list of priorities in a way that Photographers, Flowers, Cake, and more are. One other thing we know is that a lot of couples don’t realize until afterwards that there are a lot of things that happened on their wedding that they wish were on video. Michael and Sumer’s Wedding Highlights at Che’ne Rouge.

If I gave out awards for weddings, this wedding would win funnest bride prep session. Sumer and her friends laughed and joked the whole time, and it was very funny to watch from behind the camera. Once again I got to film at the beautiful Che’ne Rouge.

Rose and Keith’s Wedding Highlights at Che’ne Rouge-

If you’ve read any of my blog posts before, you know I like a couple that smiles during their wedding day. That’s exactly what Keith and Rose did, all day. They had such a fun wedding at a really beatiful wedding venue, Che’ne Rouge. And their photographer, Chris Helm , was awesome to work with and took some amazing pictures.

Halie and Jason’s Atlanta Wedding Video Highlights

Halie and Jason have great friends and family in their life. You can tell this from the video. From Jason’s twin brother’s opening toast, to Halie’s sister fighting back tears, to Halie’s best friend closing it out with a tear-jerker, it’s hard not to see.

These two were so much fun during the day. You could tell they wanted to have fun on their wedding day, and that is what they did. Much like myself, Jason is a gamer, and I love the story of his favorite Mario character in the video.

Also, on a neat personal note; this wedding took place right across the street from where my great grandmother lived all her life. I didn’t know this going in, but as I was standing outside, I looked across and saw a restaurant called “The Fickle Pickle”. It sounded familiar, and I started thinking back on a conversation I had with my dad where he had went to see his grandmother’s old house a few months back, and someone had bought it and turned it into a restaurant. You guessed it, the Fickle Pickle. My dad used to go there all the time to visit and play, and here I am years later filming a wedding right across the street. It really is a small world sometimes.

What does a full wedding film look like?

Our full wedding films are 15-25 minutes long. To some, this seems too short for a day that lasts 10-12 hours. But we are attempting to tell the story of the day, rather than show the whole day from beginning to end. Every wedding day is different, yet every day is very similar in that there are parts of the day where the same thing is going on for periods of time. At the end of it all, when you have someone watch your full wedding film, I want them to lose track of how long it is because they are watching something much more interesting then your typical wedding film. If you are looking for something different from your wedding videographer, give this a look. I like to call these wedding films, because they are so much more than a wedding video.

Emily and Aaron’s Atlanta Wedding Day Highlight Video

I’ll never forget the day I went to the AJC’s website to check the news and saw an article titled “Music Midtown ruined my wedding”. Being in the wedding industry, I clicked through to see if it was an interesting article. I found out that the wedding was at Piedmont park, late in September. I thought to myself, hey, I have a wedding at Piedmont Park late in September. It took me a little while, but I finally figured out they were one in the same.

In the end, Emily and Aaron were just having some fun with the fact that 30k people would be at the park that day. They knew it wouldn’t ruin the day, and it didn’t, obviously. They had a great day, and I had a great time filming it. Here are the highlights from that day.

Also, I ripped my pants at this wedding. Not a little bit. A lot. I had to buy a new pair to continue filming the wedding. Embarrassing!

Bill and Leslie’s Atlanta Wedding Video Highlights | Grand Hyatt Hotel

Leslie and Bill’s family and friends gave some of the best toasts I’ve had in a while, and I just had to find a way to incorporate at least a little of that in their highlight video. Leslie and Bill were full of smiles the entire day, and the entire wedding day was fun. From a packed hotel room while Leslie was getting ready, to a rockin’ reception to end the night, it was a great day. Enjoy the highlights of their wedding day!

The day started very pretty, but a last minute thunderstorm forced the ceremony inside. A thunderstorm so strong it uprooted a tree on the premises. But, as always, the rain can’t ruin a wedding day. Craig and Ashley had a beautiful ceremony, and a very fun wedding day, and I was extremely proud to be a part of it.
